2008 was also a growth year in closed transactions for the company. Despite the downturn in the local real estate market, it continued to add talented sales executives and pursue merger opportunities with other offices and franchises. 2009 has proven to be one of Prudential Americana Group's best yet. This coincided with a new Green campaign in which the company launched a paperless transaction system, saving thousands of pages of paper in the first year alone.

 

Also in 2009, Prudential Americana Group merged with and acquired multiple high-volume sales teams and offices including the McGarey Group, The Mullen Group and Windermere Summerlin. In constant pursuit of bringing new real estate executives to the market, it has also launched Americana University, an intensive pre-licensing school that provides 80 hours of classroom time to help new realtors prepare for the state licensing exams.
